Read&Write helps neurodiverse workforces to thrive

By: TextHelp

Up to 1 in 5 people around the world are neurodivergent. That means they have a neurodiverse condition such as Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, and Dyspraxia. Neurodivergent individuals have unique ways of thinking, processing, learning and behaving. They bring out-of-the-box thinking, creative solutions and more to the workplace. But only if they’re given the right support to achieve in their own way.

Read&Write is inclusion software that supports people who think, learn and work differently. Wherever there is digital text, we can make it easier to understand for everyone.

For example, Read&Write:

  •    Helps employees to choose how they understand and are understood
  •    Improves accuracy and confidence in the skills they already have
  •    Supports all staff anytime and anywhere providing instant support
  •    Demonstrates your commitment to workplace inclusion

Popular features include:

Check It: an advanced spelling and grammar checker and a powerful proofreading tool that helps users to focus on the context of their content without worrying about the mechanics of spelling.

Screen Masking: a tint that can be applied to the whole screen or a spotlight area and tailored by colour, size and opacity. Helps to reduce screen glare for people with sensitivities to light, colour, or cognitive load.

Voice Note: an alternative to writing comments in documents where users can record audio notes instead. This allows users to quickly and easily get their thoughts down, stay on track, and speed up their pace of work.
