Workplace Speakers

Over the day there will be six CPD sessions, delivered by experts in the field of neurodiversity. delivering valuable insights and sharing success stories that inspire change. From HR professionals to individuals with lived experiences, the lineup promises a diverse range of perspectives. These talks will not only educate attendees on the importance of embracing neurodiversity but also provide practical strategies for creating inclusive workplaces! This year you’ll be able to hear from:

Michael Vermeersch – Microsoft’s Accessibility Go To Market Manager. Michael will be talking about the power of Microsoft and artificial intelligence!

Dr Deborah Leveroy – Head of Research and Consultancy and Mark Woodward – Head of Occupational Delivery will be demystifying the Disability Confident Scheme!

Jamie Kingsbury – Cambridge University Press & Assessment‘s Health and Wellbeing Consultant will be discussing what a successful Workplace Adjustment process looks like.

Our Neurodiversity Panel consists of Devon Lowndes – Founder of Self Agency, Sophie Harding – People Advisor at Arcadis, Shona Clydesdale – Global Change, Training and Comms Director at Arcadis and Eleanor Walton – Research Lead and ERG Founder at Abcam. The panel will explore best practices for establishing and running an active and impactful group and consider how to navigate challenges and ensure the future of ERGs.

Mark Woodward will explore how we can better enable our Line Managers.

For the final session of the day Devon will be joined by Elizabeth Takyi – neurobox speaker and Ambassador, and Bronwyn Francis – People Advisor, UK Atomic Energy Authority for a lived-experience roundtable. The panel will be reflecting on their personal journeys, successes, and challenges, offering a nuanced understanding of diverse perspectives within the neurodiverse community.
