SuperNova Magnifier and Speech has all of the SuperNova Magnifier features, with the added benefit of speech output. This allows users to not only magnify text but also have it read aloud.

Speech Options

• Character echo controls how much is spoken as you type. Choose whether to have words, characters or both spoken as you type

• A choice of four human-sounding voices (varying on user’s language settings)
• Turn the speech on and off. Adjustable volume and speed of voices

Read From Here Mode

• Allows documents, emails and web pages to be read aloud from your cursors position
• Highlighting of words and lines as content is read back
• Customisation of announcements, choose whether punctuation and capitals are read aloud

Basic Screen Reading

• Speak keys provide shortcuts for announcing the current character, word, line and more
• Sound Splitting gives the user the ability to listen to speech through one earphone, while still listening to a video call or music through the other
• Access to the light version of the Dolphin Cursor to explore web pages and applications
• The Item Finder feature allows users to explore a list of links and headings in a webpage
